Preity Zinta
Film actors often blame the media people for creating rumors. Some of them get used to it and able to neglect it. But recently the article ‘Preity-Ness Break-up’ published by Mumbai Mirror made Preity Zinta go mad and angry. The story was focused on her break-up with businessman beau Ness Wadia and link-up with Vikram Chatwal. After reading the story Preity got mad and not ready to accept any nonsense.
Preity said, “I am mad. Very, very mad right now. It’s ridiculous how the media sits and writes anything they feel like without even the decency and the journalistic norms of contacting all parties.”
Preity reacted angrily to the news paper and on her side she explained, “What people are saying is that this story came about because I was cheering for Vikram Chatwal at the Fashion Week. How ridiculous is that? When I cheered for Shah Rukh Khan, then no one questioned me as to why I cheered him the most? At the Fashion Week, there were also Arjun and Mehr Rampal, Rahul Bose, Ujjwala Raut - all famous celebrities and my friends; and I cheered for all of them.”
Preity later added that she cheered everybody out there because the show was for Mumbai and its intention was to say people that come to Mumbai and do your business, its safe and we will live our lives the way we want.
Preity also said, “I am pretty honest about my life. If I want to live with someone or something, I’ll come out and say it aloud. I don’t want any journalist to publish a stupid article that is not true to endorse my life.”
