Aamir Khan is known for his winning manners and ‘Good-Samaritan’ ways. But a recent incident simply takes the cake!Producer Vashu Bhagnani`s son Jackky is debuting in ‘Kal Kissne Kekha’. The UPDA (United Producers & Distributors Association) meeting had brought deep lines of worry on Vashu’s brow, but Aamir’s gesture wiped it all away.
When Aamir assured the producer of a successful release and his full support, he felt relieved. “It was not just the reassurance that Aamir gave me. It was his words. Aamir said, `Vashuji, we`ll make sure that the mutiplex audiences will head towards single theatres to see your son`s film. I will personally clean the WCs, if I have to. But don`t worry, your film will get the proper release,” he said.
I was so stunned by his words, I couldn`t even say thank you. It seemed like such a small and frivolous gesture to repay him for his overwhelming words, Vashu added.
These words seem too much from a ruling star of one of the biggest film industries in the world, but it did happen. The humility and sincerity of Aamir’s words are remarkably winsome.Later Shah Rukh too came up to me and said, “We`re with you.” Vashu is still uncertain about releasing the film of May 1st, but is waiting fro a green signal from the Khans to declare the release date.
