Deepika, Saif in Vishal Bharadwaj’s next

Much to the delight of Deepika Padukone, director Vishal Bharadwaj has signed the actress opposite Saif Ali Khan. Impressed with Deepika’s performance in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’, Vishal has shifted his choice from Priyanka to Deepika.

Thrilled Deepika tweets, "Yes its true! signed a film with vishal bhardwaj!I'm really really excited...he's a genius!!:-)" Saif Ali Khan has already worked with the director in ‘Omkara’ and excited to work with him again. Vishal’s last flick ‘Ishqiya’ was highly acclaimed. The film will be produced by the queen of television, Ekta Kapoor.

The film is scheduled to go on floor early next year. Deepika’s next release is ‘Lafangey Parindey’ with Neil Nitin Mukesh.
