Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba appeared at the Andheri court in Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon. She was summoned to to attend the hearings of a pending case against Meraj Rehman, the man who sent her obscene messages in November 2009.
Minissha had to attend the hearings to avoid getting arrest warrant in her name. A source informs, "She had already missed a previous summon and there was no way she wanted to miss this one. Her lawyer informed her that if she missed it, there would be an arrest warrant issued on her name."
Meraj Rehman is a well known name in the film industry. Ex husband of Manyata Dutt, Meraj is popular for sending abusive messages to Bollywood actresses. He sent abusive SMSs to Sambhavna Seth, Manyata Dutt and many others.
