It was not only Imran Khan’s dream to star opposite sexy Kareena Kapoor but Kareena also once upon a time smitten by Imran Khan and expressed her desire to share screen space with him. Now the time has come when the dream of both the stars will see the light of the day. After the box office
success of ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, Imran’s sinking career begun to rise and he has been signed by Dharma production once again.
The film will be an out and out romantic flick, very new and refreshing. Karan Johar has given the huge task of directing the film to Shakun Batra, a close pal of Imran. Imran and Kareena has already given their dates and the film will go on floor in December and slated for summer release in 2011.
Shakun has worked as an assistant in Rock On!! and Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Imran Khan confirmed the news, “Yes it is true that I am doing another film with Karan Johar. The film will be directed by Shakun but beyond that, I can’t confirm anything on the casting front. Shakun has been a friend ever since he joined the industry and was a second assistant director on Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. He has written the script with our mutual friend Aayesha”.
It will surely be a treat to see two beautiful actors pairing on-screen.
