No, Priyanka Chopra hasn’t turned old overnight. Rather, the 27-year-old beauty has transformed into a 65-year-old geriatric with the help of make-up, for director Vishal Bharadwaj’s film Saat Khoon Maaf.
Priyanka plays the 65-year-old wife to Naseeruddin Shah, her make-up was so very real that even her father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, who was present on the sets, failed to recognize her.
Dr Chopra recounted his experience in utter bewilderment, “I was stunned to see Priyanka. I could not recognise her. I actually went up very close to her to ensure she is the same Priyanka. Themake-up artist had done such a fabulous job with her that she looked much older than her mother. Right from her face to her wrinkled hands and feet, she had been transformed into an old woman. “ The proud father who added, “My daughter was a natural and even spoke like a typical 65-year-old.”
In the movie, Priyanka plays all the different stages of a woman’s life from age 18 to 65 years. Professional make-up artists have been flown down from Australia to create all these varied looks.
