This must be the best decision ever for the Congress party as they have bought the rights of song Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire which fetched composer A.R Rahman two Oscars.
“The ‘Jai Ho’ song has been rewritten while retaining the key words Jai Ho. Sukhwinder Singh, who has sung the original song, has also lent his voice for this. The new lyrics go,
‘Aam aadmi ke badhte kadam, har kadam par Bharat buland… Jai ho… Jai ho’. The lyrics will trace the journey of the Congress since its existence, from Jawaharlal Nehru to Rahul Gandhi. The music video has already been shot by Percept Picture Company and will soon be on air.”
“The music video will definitely hit the bull’s eye. It traces the legacy of the Congress and has been designed so that it will strike a chord with today’s youth, who is yearning for some action from politicians.”
