Sonam and Ranbir are chaddi-buddies

After Sawaariya the whole world speculated that Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor are more than just friends, enter Deepika Padukone who allegedly snatched Ranbir from Sonam and became a bad woman in the eyes of everyone.

However Sonam clarifies that there were never any special feeling for Ranbir in her heart as their relationship was purely platonic.

She says, “Ranbir and I are chaddi-buddies. We’ve been friends as kids, even when he’s had other girlfriends who were not superstars, and now that we two are film stars and it’s just so amazing people can’t digest it. We couldn’t think about each other in that way if we tried.”

Well lets hope Deepika haters can now turn back into Deepika lovers.
