Will AR Rahman have to face the music?

The Mozart of Madras gets into trouble for his recent rendition Hosanna…. from Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Ek Deewana Tha

The makers of the Hindi remake of super hit Tamil film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya, seem to have landed in trouble with Catholic community, for using the word ‘Hosanna’ in a song. News is that the Catholic-Christian Secular Forum (CSF)  is irked with the use of word ‘Hosanna‘ in the song. The forum has shot off letters to authorities concerned including music composer AR Rahman demanding that the song be withdrawn.
