After Aamir Khan and Salman Khan it is now Shahrukh Khan who showed interest in Hindi remake of south film. King Khan has agreed to act in the remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Ramanaa'. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has acquired the rights of the 2002 hit Tamil flick.
This is not the first time that any South film has impressed Bhansali. He is already working on Hindi remake of South film, ‘Rowdy Rathore’ starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. Actually, Bhansali was not keen on remaking any more south film but when one of his friends insisted him to see Ramanaa which has a strong anti-corruption message, he was highly impressed and decided to acquire the rights.
The film will be directed by Ghajini director A.R. Murugadoss. ‘Ramanaa’ was first made in Tamil with Vijaykanth and then in Telugu with Chiranjeevi.
