The story about love and breakups has been told innumerable times in Bollywood. Despite being monotonous, this particular theme always gets a place in Bollywood and was appreciated by the audience. Sahil Sangha directed Love Breakups Zindagi also falls in the same line. A repetitive story wins the heart of the audience when the same plot is given a different treatment and presented with little twists and turns. But LBZ has nothing new to tell and that is the reason why the film could not win the heart of the audience.

It is a debut production venture of Dia Mirza, Zayed Khan and Sahil Sangha named Bonfire entertainment. Dia and Zayed have played the lead role to give something interesting to the audience. It is a story about friendship, relationship, love and breakups. It talks about the relationship of Zayed-Dia-Vaibhav and Cyrus-Tisca. Two stories run side by side.

The film starts off well but becomes monotonous in the end. The climax is very ordinary. The film has nothing new to offer. Jai (Zayed Khan) is a marketing executive in Delhi. He is of the opinion that opposite attracts. Jai is attracted towards bossy girl Radhika (Pallavi Sharda) who is totally opposite to him.

On the other side, Naina (Dia Mirza) who is a photographer by profession went all out to woo her workaholic investment banker boyfriend Dhruv (Vaibhav Talwar). But destiny has something else stored for them. Jai and Naina get to meet each other at Jai's best buddy Arjun (Satyadeep Misra) and Naina's good friend Gayatri’s (Auritra Ghosh) wedding in Chandigarh. Both liked each other but there is little hesitation as both are already in a committed relationship.

Meanwhile, we see Jai and Arjun's friend Govind (Cyrus Sahukar) gets close to Arjun’s aunt Sheila (Tisca Chopra). Govind is an interesting character. He is divorced twice but still open to making new girl friends.

The wedding gets over and everybody goes back to their routine work. However, Jai happens to visit Mumbai for some work and decides to catch up with Dia. Meanwhile, Govind’s love life also falls on track. He was seen having coffee date with Sheila. Shahrukh Khan plays himself in the film and says in the end, “Eventually in life and films everything has a happy ending”.

Salim-Sulaiman’s music is ear-soothing. Song Rab Rakkha stands out. As far as the direction is concerned, Sahil Sangha excels in this department. He is very clear about what he is doing. Not at all messy, it is very simple and beautiful.

Speaking about performances, the film totally belongs to Dia Mirza and Zayed Khan. They are the soul of the film. Being a first time producer and experienced actors, both the starts has done full justice to their role. They emote the funny moments and emotional parts with full perfection. Other actors like Tisca Chopra, Cyrus Sahukar, Satyadeep Misra, Auritra Ghosh and Vaibhav Talwar are natural actors and have done a superb job. Umang Jain and Farida Jalal are lovable. However, Soni Razdan doesn't have much to do in the film.

In the nutshell, ‘Love Breakups Zindagi’ is a lovely light hearted film. Basically, the film is for the youngsters. Not a bad watch.
