News : Aishwarya no more Bhandarkar's 'Heroine'

Madhur Bhandarkar’s highly anticipated movie, ‘Heroine’ has been shelved due to Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. After spending four crores on the project already, Madhur has stalled the shooting. The first look of the film was also released but now the director has a change of mind. Aishwaya Rai Bachchan is unsure about the project as she has conceived.

‘Heroine’ is a women oriented film where the female lead has to be under waterfall, need to smoke and run. But on looking at Ash’s present situation, the director is not willing to take any risk. Based on the life of successful actresses like Madubala, Marilyn Monroe and Mahi Khanna, the movie was announced at 64th Cannes film festival.

Madhur is depressed thinking about the fate of the film and is highly upset as why Ash did not inform him before.

Now the big question that clouded the film is who will be Aishwarya’s replacement. Whether he will assign as new face or it will be replaced by his ‘Fashion’ actress Priyanka Chopra. At first Kareena Kapoor was approached for the project but she declined it as the script demands getting cozy with four male protagonists.

Well, let’s hope Madhur gets a right replacement for ‘Heroine’.
