The ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ actress Anushka Sharma has been detained at Mumbai airport for carrying undeclared goods. She has declared her accessories while travelling from Mumbai to Toronto but did not declare her goods while coming from Toronto to India.
She was detained at the airport by custom officials and was questioned for hours. In middle of all the chaos, Anushka has a reason for rejoice; she was awarded with the best actress award at the event.
In a span of one month, two more actresses have been detained at the Mumbai airport. Bipasha Basu was held at the airport and was released after paying custom duty 12,600. Minissha Lamba was also detained at the Mumbai airport for 16 long hours for not having declared Rs. 50 lakhs worth of jewelery.
