News : Abhishek gets funny with wife Aishwarya

For the first time, Bollywood most admirable couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will act together in a comedy. It was Abhishek Bachchan’s long time wish to share screen with wife Aishwarya in a comic caper. So when director Rajkumar Santoshi went to the duo with the script of ‘Ladies And Gentleman’, they liked the script and gave their approval.

"I was very keen to do a comedy after a spate of more serious films and also Aishwarya and I haven`t done a comedy together, so I`m excited about this film," Abhishek told reporters in an e-mail interview from Murmansk, Russia.


After a series of serious films like, ‘Paa’, ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ and ‘Dum Maaro Dum’, Abhi wanted to taste something light hearted.

"It`s a great script, very funny and Raj-ji is directing it. We`ve been very keen to work together for a long time. I`m very happy that we will be finally working together," the 35 yrs old actor said.

In the film, Abhi and Ash plays a funny husband and wife.
