Gossip : Farhan Akhtar refuses to sing for Aamir Khan

Actor-director-singer multitalented Farhan Akhtar refuses to lend his voice for Reema Kagti’s thriller starring Aamir Khan in the lead. Reema who share a good rapport with Farhan wanted him to sing for Aamir Khan but he straightway refused.

A source said, “Reema has a fabulous music sense. The songs in her directorial debut Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd were big chartbusters. She has big musical plans for the Aamir starrer. In fact, the film has a theme song just for Aamir`s character.”

Interestingly, last year, Farhan not only turned down AR Rahman`s offer to croon for a song in ‘Blue’ but also declined Rohan Sippy`s offer to play the leading role and sing his own songs in ‘Dum Maro Dum’.

Farhan reasoned behind his disapproval. He said that he sings for himself only and not for other actors as he is not sure whether his voice will suit other’s or not.

Lately, Farhan has sung for his sister Zoya Akhtar in her film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
