Deepika enacts Ranbir in ‘Break Ke Baad’

Two years of relationship and then break-up without any major reason. Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor’s love life was very short. It was said that Ranbir cheated on Deepika and kicked her out of his life. After the incident, the actress was totally shattered as she never accepted such treatment from the man whom she loves from the core of her heart. Today, Deepika has taken a sweet revenge on Ranbir. In her forthcoming film, ‘Break Ke Baad’, she has played commitment-phobic girl – Aalia, which is actually Ranbir in his real life.

A close friend of Deepika said, “Knowingly or unknowingly, she has added some nuances to her character in the film that are straight out of her past love affair with Ranbir. Besides, when an actor
gets into the skin of her character, she picks up traits from people she has known personally.”

When enquired whether it was an easy character to portray, Deepika’s friend added, “Well, it was easy in parts, but when the scenes became very emotional and intense, it was difficult.”
