Salman skips Ranbir’s film for Kat

Every other day, print and electronic media informs about Ranbir Kapoor’s growing proximity with actress Katrina Kaif. Such stories are very difficult to digest for the hot tempered Salman Khan. Hurt by such fabricated stories Salman Khan skipped Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer, ‘Anjaana Anjaani’. Minus Sallu, his entire family was present on the special screening arranged by his father Salim Khan.

Things turned bad to worse when Deepika Padukone in an interview hinted that Ranbir had cheated on her with one of his co-stars and it is buzzed that Kat is the reason behind Ranbir and Deepika’s split-up.

Confirming the news of Salman’s growing animosity with Ranbir, a source said, "Though Salman is very close to producer Sajid Nadiadwala, in this case, friendship was far exceeded by his anger at the rumours linking Katrina with Ranbir. So while Salman was happy that Sajid could release his film in spite of the political stress, he chose to stay away."
