Ash recommends Kat to act opposite Abhi

Vipul Shah’s ‘Italian Job’ is again hitting the headlines for its casting couch. Earlier it was reported that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has objection regarding casting Katrina Kaif opposite her hubby and actor
Abhishek Bachchan but now the report turned false, instead Ash is recommending Katrina Kaif’s name to Vipul Shah.

A source said, “Vipul`s first option was to cast Abhishek and Aishwarya. It was Aishwarya who prompted Vipul to cast Katrina instead.”

When contacted, Shah confirmed the reports and said, “All I can say at the moment is that Aishwarya has absolutely no objections to the Abhishek-Katrina pair on screen.”

Meanwhile, Katrina also denied any rift with Abhishek as she said, "All these ridiculous rumours about me not working with Abhishek started when my dates for ‘The Italian Job’ didn`t work out, and ‘Dostana 2’ got postponed. Abhishek is a great guy. I did ‘Sarkar’ with him at the start of my career. There were other offers but I felt they were not good enough to do justice to our pairing. I decided that whenever we work together again, it would be for a full-blown romantic comedy."

All well that ends well. Now everything has been sorted out and very soon Kat and Abhi’s pair will scorch the silver screen.
