Vivek Oberoi is getting married to Priyanka Alva, daughter of the well-known danseuse Nandini Alva and late Janata Dal (U) leader Jeevaraj Alva. Vivek and Priyanka will be entering the wedlock on October 29. It will be an arranged marriage fixed by Vivek’s aunty Padmini Ravi who is a Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer. Padmini is a close friend of Nandini Alva (Priyanka’s mother). Priyanka is going to meet all the family members of Vivek in Goa as Vivek Oberoi’s cousin Vaibhav is getting married in Goa this week. The marriage will be an union of Oberoi’s and Alva’s family.
Vivek with his parents will leave for Goa tomorrow. Priyanka as well as Vivek is looking forward to their meeting. Though the couple exchanged rings in Bangalore, official engagement is yet to be taken place. Vivek and Priyanka will be wedded following all the rituals. Before they enter into wedlock, the couple will seek the blessings of God.
The wedding will be held in Bangalore in Punjabi
style. It will be a three days event that includes menedi, sangeet and wedding reception.
