Shiney Ahuja finally gets relief from the rape charge. His domestic maid who earlier accused Shiney of raping her at his residence has now twisted her version. She is now making a different statement regarding the rape case. She in her latest verdict said that Shiney did not rape her and that she was forced by the woman who introduced her to work at Shiney's home to make false allegation against the actor.
"On September 3, the victim identified Shiney in the court and said she used to work at his residence as a domestic help. But when asked about the incident she said it never happened and that she was never raped," public prosecutor Kashinath Dighe said.
Following the latest developments, the court declared the victim as ‘hostile witness’ and said that the trail will continue.
Rape case against Shiney’s was running on the fast track court till he was granted bail with surety of Rs 50,000. On June 15, 2009, the 20 yr old maid servant filed case against the actor at the Andheri police station. Following the case, the actor was arrested and served 110 days in police custody in various jails of Mumbai.
The next hearing of the case is scheduled for September 15.
