A new ravishing Lara Dutta is there for everyone to see, especially over the year gone by. First she sizzled in a big way in BLUE and audience couldn't get enough of her. Now in HOUSEFULL, she is one of the three actresses (including Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan) who bring a charm of their own once they appear on screen. While there is quite a lot that one can expect from the three women when it comes to their character in the film, what cannot be ignored is the fact that this is the first time ever in the history of Bollywood that three leading ladies have come together in a swimsuit for a single shot in a film.
"Well, this way HOUSEFULL and Sajid (Khan) were lucky to have three nice women with nice bodies in a film", smiles Lara who doesn't have any inhibition when it comes to wearing a bikini for camera as long as the aesthetics are maintained during the shooting, "None of us actually had to worry about anything when it came to shooting for this song on the beach. It is a comfortable situation when you know about the people you are working with."
Still, it wasn't just Lara, Deepika and Jiah who were required to appear in bare minimum for the film. Even Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh had to look toned and lean.
Laughs Lara, "It was fun to see both these guys working hard in the gym. They had to match well with us, right? Both Akshay and Riteish are built so differently and they did well to get into their best shape for the shoot. In fact the real surprise was Riteish who was hiding himself from all. However, the moment he removed his short, we girls went 'wow'. He had just transformed himself totally. No wonder, we voted him as the best body on the sets."
