At a gala event at a Mumbai 5-star hotel on April 8, Abhishek Bachchan formally launched Mann Pasand, composed and sung by Roopkumar Rathod and sung by Roopkumar with Sunali Rathod. Roopkumar also sang the song from this album Kat-ti hai ab to meri har shaam peete peete at the launch function.
Said Abhishek, “I have been a big fan of Roopkumar since my first film Refugee, in which he had sung.
I personally like Dil hai jawaan from this album. I am very happy to know that this is the couple’s twenty-fifth album together. I wish all the very best to this beautiful pair.”
The album has been marketed by Times Music, whose COO Adarsh Gupta was present on the occasion. Others spotted included Sameer, Shameer Tandon, Adinath Mangeshkar, Shaan, Aadesh Shrivastava, Anupama Verma and Anita Hassnandani, both of whom feature in the video, Sandeep who has directed the video and Shravan.
Special launch for Issar Gangaur-Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot released Issar Gangaur, comprising of 20 traditional folk-songs of Gangaur by Veena Cassettes at his official residence in Jaipur recently. These songs have been sung by Supriya with music composed by veteran Nirmal Mishra. Veena Cassettes, the pioneer promoters of Rajasthani traditional folk-songs through cassettes, CDs and VCDs have released more than 250 cassettes, 100 CDs and over 50 VCDs in 25 years. Says K.C.
